A found footage film feels like opening a door to something that was never meant to be seen.

It presents itself as if the images were lost recordings that have somehow been recovered: forgotten tapes, abandoned cameras, fragments of video found after an event. Instead of looking like a traditional film, it appears as raw documents of something that already happened.

The unsettling part is that the viewer becomes the one who discovers these images.
You don’t really know who recorded them, why they were filming, or what happened afterward.
